"Being in the Mortgage Business Myself I wanted to do things on my own so that I could be in control and watch every move.  I already had an application into one Lender but did not feel comfortable with the program and rate they were offering.  I talked to my Realtor and she gave me the name of Tom Penley, a broker that a client of hers recently used.  I was reluctunant at first because I wanted to be in control.  I called Tom and right away I felt a sense of relief.  He talked to me for at least an hour and explained things to me, even when I wasn't understanding it right off the bat.  Never once during that conversation did I feel like he wanted to get me off the phone or that he wanted to make things quick.  He went at my pace and really tried to find out what I wanted.  He made me feel good about the decision to call him.  I went ahead and applied for a loan with him at Indigo Financial.  Being that we had less time now, since I decided to switch lenders last minute, I was afraid things would not get done in time.  But that all changed once I saw how diligently Tom worked to get it done.  Tom was able to get things done and we even closed a day earlier then I originally told him!  He always returned my calls and emails right away, and I never had a problem getting a hold of him.  He could always answer my questions and even if he wasn't sure he would double check and get right back to me, he would never give me false information that he would have to explain later.  The day of the closing I also received compliments from both my Attorney, who had never worked with him before, and my Realtor, who had only worked with Tom once in the past.  They both told me how impressed they were.  One big thing my Attorney said was that Tom was always willing to take his call and he was always able to get in touch with Tom right away when he needed him.  I feel that Tom is very organized and knows this business.  That makes him excellent at what he does!  I am very glad about the decision I made to go with Tom and Indigo Financial.  I would absolutely recommend Tom and I look forward to working with him for my future mortgage ventures!  Thanks  Tom!!!"
